Trey Graves Drops Visual for  "X."

As we're all trying to let go of the sour memories of 2020, Los Angeles-based artist Trey Graves also needs to let go. In his case, he's still holding on to an ex. The singer, rapper, producer, and multi-instrumentalist dynamo from Memphis, Tennessee started his musical journey at the age of three playing drums in church. His musically rich environment as a kid led him to a full scholarship at Boston's Berklee College of Music. While at Berklee, he recorded and released his debut EP drft.

Graves released his latest single "X." late last year and it's one of the very few things from 2020 that we'll be happily bringing with us into 2021. The bass line sets the foundation for this smorgasbord of funk, indie, and R&B. Lyrically, Graves is wondering why he can't get over his ex and ruminates on how those feelings are affecting his new relationship. Trey Graves is currently working on his debut EP with Los Angeles-based collective The Cafeteria Line and we're looking forward to hearing that soon. In the meantime, watch the video for "X." below.
