It won't be long until you hear the name James Vickery everywhere, so do yourself a favor and bask in the smooth stylings of this R&B virtuoso before the rest of the world catches on. Earlier this summer, we here at Ones To Watch premiered Vickery's live rendition of "Something Good," but now he has unveiled the studio version of this soulful tune and it's nothing short of pure bliss.

South London's Vickery was born deaf in his left ear, but that hasn't stopped him from pursuing his inspiring passion for music. As he continues to curate his highly anticipated debut album, Vickery has been posting visual content in the form of his LIVE from London series, which sees him performing his discography in various locations across his hometown.

Written and produced with Maths Time Joy (Mahalia, Sinead Harnett), "Something Good" is about one of Vickery's past relationships that left him feeling confused, yet satisfied. In this vulnerable reflection, he attempts to pinpoint aspects of the relationship that he found the most fulfilling. Just like the rest of his repertoire, "Something Good" showcases Vickery's undeniable conviction to his musical craft through his refreshingly raw vocals and sultry harmonies.

On "Something Good," James Vickery explained,

"'Something Good' is a song that's very personal to me, and written about a past relationship of mine. It's about that point in a relationship where everything feels really good, but you can't quite put your finger on exactly what it is."
