There are a lot of incredible things that make Myles Cameron an artist to not only be a fan of but admire. His affinity and respect for the art of storytelling grants listeners a level of quality and care that not every artist can deliver. This pre-set benchmark is unsurprisingly present in the wholesome energy of his new music video for his latest single, "Prettysoon."

Bringing to life the relaxed sensibilities of his newly released record, Cameronrelishes in the soul-nourishing nature of the human spirit. This documentary-style recording chronicles the electricity that exists amongst close friends. Footage of Cameron and company can best be described as utterly wholesome, adding a new level of authenticity to the raw vocals and stripped-back production of the record. This organically created atmosphere is not only thematically hopeful but comforting. There is something immensely beautiful about the simplicity that comes with spending time with those you care about. Cameron spoke on the meaning behind his latest release, sharing,

"Songwriting is probably the thing I care about most in music. I don't care what genre, if the song's poetic and really tells a story, I'll probably love it. 'Prettysoon' is my affinity towards that in song form. No bells and whistles just a story with nice images."

Directed by Heins Evander, this is Myles Cameron’s first visual release since sharing his six-track Lonely Suburban Blackboy EP dropped in late May. Clearly creating from a different space, Cameron's adoption of more acoustic stylings allows his vivid storytelling ability to act as the song's centerpiece. If "Prettysoon" marks a new sonic chapter in Cameron's artistry we, his loyal fandom, cannot wait to hear more.
