It’s a sentiment carried through by Claire Rosinkranz’s latest earworm of a single, “i’m too pretty for this.â€
The lovesick fantasy of “Backyard Boy†may have delivered Rosinkranz her breakout viral moment, but “i’m too pretty for this†sees her trading in butterflies for daggers as she moves on in enthralling fashion. Immediately spurred forth by dynamic guitars and a steadfast beat, Rosinkranz sings, “Why do your promises never stick / And why are your words always of shit / And why don’t you try just a little bit.†The lyrics flow forth like well-deserved poetry, the perfectly drafted break-up text message to someone who simply isn’t worth the time or effort.

“i’m too pretty for this†arrives in the midst of a whirlwind season for the budding pop star, who is currently experiencing another viral moment as “Frankenstein†takes off again on TikTok. In addition, Rosinkranz is hitting the road with festival appearances at Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits, Life Is Beautiful and as direct support for Alec Benjamin’s ‘The (UN)Commentary Tour.’
