baej Lambeaux Wants to Apologize in New Single "Cluster B"

Los Angeles' baej Lambeaux, née Michael Adubato, is paving his own way in his latest single, "Cluster B." The single sees the producer and singer-songwriter continue to create refreshingly raw music with honest lyrics, as he grapples with his own psyche and learns how to become a better version of himself.

"Cluster B" opens with layers of catchy synths and beats, understated guitar riffs, and warm vocals. Lambeaux sets up the story by crooning, "She's a little bit disappointed / With her college decision / He's restricting what he puts in his mouth / To lose some weight." He then dives into his challenges, expressing that he knows healing isn't a linear process, but he just can't lose anyone else in his life.

Lambeaux takes listeners on an uptempo journey in the chorus, exploring mellow, futuristic soundscapes, reverberating vocal harmonies, and heartfelt lyricism. He declares that he wants no part in how he used to behave, singing about his desire for growth and doing his best not to become a narcissist, which could be a nod to the song's name since narcissistic personality disorder is a Cluster B personality disorder. In the second verse and for the rest of the track, Lambeaux focuses on apologizing to the people he's hurt by being immature, firmly stating that he wants to take responsibility for his actions and "all the fucking stupid shit I say."

"Cluster B" is the artist's first release since his previous single "Something Porny." Although it's still early in the budding artist's growing career, Lambeaux has already won the hearts of listeners with his previous singles, "Jimmy" and "gfgf." His other previous works have also earned placement on tastemaker playlists like Spotify's New Noise playlist, Fashionably Early, and Crack in the Road.
