Militaire Gun Shares Exhilarating New Single "Do It Faster" Ahead Of Debut Album | The Noise

Los Angeles' Militarie Gun shares a thrilling new single in "Do It Faster," which serves as a first glimpse into the band's highly anticipated forthcoming debut album. The five-piece, comprised of vocalist Ian Shelton, guitarists Nick Cogan and William Acuña, bassist Max Epstein, and drummer Vince Nguyen, deliver a short but impactful track that channels the frustration and impatience we all feel with the world into something cathartic we can all scream along and mosh to.

The single is jam-packed with buzzsaw guitars and anthemic vocals from Shelton, making the short and sweet immediacy of "Do It Faster" an intoxicating joyride that begs to be played over and over again. When talking about the song, Shelton shares, "It is about my overall impatience with life. The agonizing wait for things to materialize… so before resigning to do it myself, I'm imploring the world to just move faster."

The accompanying music video, directed by Shelton and edited by Acuña, is a simplistic yet wholesome visual that captures the urgency within the song. In the video, the band wears matching sweatsuits and performs on a spinning stage as their coach, played by Acuña, fittingly yells at the band to, as the song suggests, "do it faster."

Following their heavily praised first performances in the UK last year with Fiddlehead and an incendiary set fueled by stage invasions at Outbreak in Manchester, the band will take their energetic stage show to The George Tavern for a much-anticipated debut London headliner on May 9.
