KidEyes Throw Their Name into the Mix on "Come Down"

Pop-rock duo, KidEyes, may not be a name you were formally introduced to, but allow us to make that introduction. Carrying a nostalgic early 2000's radio essence, the duo consisted of Greg Cahn and Ben Epand bring us back to simpler times. A stress free, sans pandemic world we were so accustomed to at one point. Come down is a freeing song that gives us a taste of normalcy again.

For their first release of 2021, "Come Down" is a spirit lifting song that makes you relish the feeling of being young, innocent and in love. To release all of your bad omens and just go with the wind. They tell the story of new, exciting love that diminishes any doubts you have about love. Cohen explains that it may be an idealistic way of looking at things, but sometimes you just have to dream big and live free.

“The Intention of this song is to take you flying through the clouds and stars. To relish that feeling of young, new love. And to never come down. Sorta idealistic, but we love to dream.”

It's the production that really brings you on a nostalgia trip from the crisp cracks on the snare, to the tambourine shake, to the way the song is dynamically orchestrated. Completely self-produced, KidEyes prove themselves as a serious contender as a promising duo thrown into the mix of great new music coming out this year.
