Cody Lovaas Lays It All on the Line in the Emotionally-Charged "Rocket"

Clearly, no distance is too far and no realm unachievable in Cody Lovaas' fight for his true love. With his new single, "Rocket," you hear the emotional agony in his voice and watch the hardships he endures as Lovaas picks himself up again after a crash from outer space.

Lovaas' smooth pop music perfectly balances confessional lyrics and infectious melodies. Throughout "Rocket," Lovaas uses out of this world metaphors to capture an incredibly grounded experience of fighting for love. The music video shows Lovaas beat up and bruised after the rocket he once soared in is now broken into pieces. None of it matters though, and his heart can be broken, so long as she's the one who does it.

"Rocket" arrives as Lovaas' follow-up single to "Flowers on the Freeway," which showcased him as a loverboy in a more tender, lighthearted fashion. The track garnered impressive accolades, landing him on Apple playlists New In Singer Songwriter, Today's Acoustic, Today at Apple, and Relax. It was also added to New Music Daily and New In Pop, and YouTube's Pop Before It Breaks showed its support as well.

With accolades flowing in and an amicable talent for crafting beautifully intricate tracks, Lovaas is a singer-songwriter and entertainer to look out for.
