Aaron Taos Dives Deeper Into Heartbreak in 'Closure and Campari: After Hours'

Summer is right around the corner. The change in seasons is upon us, signaling that it's time to trade our winter blues and the somber soundtracks that accompany them for the upbeat vibes that are synonymous with spring.

Aaron Taos' latest single "In My Head," featuring Carter Ace, is the perfect track to usher in the sunnier days ahead for 2022. This track is a well-crafted bop. Combining elements of hip-hop and pop-punk, Taos' latest effort is instantly appealing from the first note, and you can't help but move to it. With a new era of alternative-leaning pop currently dominating the musical ethos, Taos has what it takes to carve out his place in the cultural zeitgeist.

Don't be fooled by the upbeat nature of the track. This continuation of Taos' post-breakup album Closure and Campari, aptly titled Closure and Campari: After Hours, dives into Taos' headspace and the dark places one ventures to during heartbreak. It's encouraging to listen to "In My Head" and feel like these often-self-imposed prisons of insecurity, imposter syndrome, and warped self-image are not insurmountable obstacles. And just as we are about to step into a new season, so comes with it the opportunity to "take a walk, shake it off," and leave behind all the things that have been holding us back.
