408 Want You To Find The Love You Deserve On New Single "Break Up With Your Girlfriend" | THE NOISE

Viral alt-punk band 408 wants us all to find the happiness we deserve with the release of their latest single, "Break Up With Your Girlfriend." The new track, produced by Andrew Wade and written with Kyle Fishman and Nick Bailey, marks the first release following their global multi-album deal with alternative powerhouse label Big Noise.

The single is a sun-kissed, bouncy, timeless track that opens with warm guitar riffs and thrumming bass lines, teasing the summery and climactic hook. Scenes of early summer unfold as our down-on-his-luck protagonist finds out that his crush is back for the summer. During the verses, he reflects on what could've been and how she could've been the one, but the stars never seemed to align in their favor.

Suddenly, the song takes a turn as co-lead vocalist Mark Faroudi sings, "Soon as she saw mе out with someone else.." launching into a triumphant chorus that sees the song Dream Girl express, "Break up with your girlfriend, tell her it's not working/ It's toxic, and you're always upset." Driving percussion patterns, lively guitar riffs, and rich bass fill the background as she declares that he's wasting his time in his current relationship, that he can do better, and that they should be together.

"Things aren't always greener on the other side, but then why does it always seem like it is?" shared the Florida band. "That is the dichotomy of this track and why it needed to be talked about. Life isn't always easy to navigate, it's important to us as a band to highlight a sensitive subject of questioning if you are even with the right person in life."

408 will embark on a US tour with Magnolia Park, poptropicalslutz!, and Tx2 this October. The tour will kick off on October 5 in Houston and wrap up in Cincinnati later that month.
